Bio

A young man with blonde hair, wearing a black suit, white shirt, and black tie, standing against a dark gray background.

Jordan Goodsell is an actor, director, and singer with over two decades of professional experience across theatre, television/film, and live performance.

Raised in Southern California, Jordan’s creative instincts were shaped early by his grandmother - a dynamic voice teacher, opera singer, concert pianist and arts educator - and his father, a former athlete turned high-performing business leader and coach. His upbringing balanced discipline with imagination and grit with humor - qualities that clearly define his work today.

Jordan earned his BFA in Theatre Performance from Chapman University and completed The American Theatre Wing’s SpringboardNYC program before moving to New York. His credits range from the feature film A Complete Unknown (dir. James Mangold) to originating roles in the world premiere of Frozen Live, with an extensive resume of working in television and professional theatres across the country in between. He also regularly performs with Under the Streetlamp at performing arts venues nationwide, serving as the group’s vocal arranger and music director.

As a director, Jordan has led readings and concert-staged performances - most recently bringing a production of This Purple Fucking Pot, a new satirical office comedy, to a successful pop-up run this past Fall in an actual midtown office space. It is currently eyeing an Off-Broadway premiere in early 2027.

He is based in New York City.
